Zambian Sign Language (ZSL) is used by many deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing Zambians. it is unique and real language recognized as a first language by many members of the Deaf community. learning Zambian Sign Language will expose one to a new cultural and linguistic community and at the same time helps one to realise the importance of communicating with and understand Deaf people whether an employee, a client, a friend or a family memeber.

 

Zambia Deaf Youth & Women offers Sign Language afternoon classes from 14.30-15.30 and evening classes17.30-18.30.Members of the general public, Teachers, Nurses,Counsellors, Police Officers, Bankers, Pastors, future Sign Language Interpreters and general public  are encouraged to come and enroll in the program at affordable tution fees.
